COPY AS ORIGINAL
Stereotyping is an unchanging fixation with one or several gestures, or one or several words that do not have any useful purpose or meaningful intent. In the series of drawings, the repetitive gesture becomes the production of "copies", which can contain both similarities and differences.
The "copy" is an "original" whose subject has disappeared to become itself the vestige of the gesture.
"My paintings are only the ashes of my art", Yves Klein, so that art becomes a true laboratory of gestures.
